In past we have covered three freeware tools ZapMessenger, WLM DeepClean & WLMUninstaller to uninstall & remove windows live messenger. Most of the WLM uninstaller utility uses CLSID but since the key is different for each WLM version such a solution might only be useful if you have that exact version.

Here is yet another Windows Live Messenger uninstallation & removal tool which uses windows installer & CLSID to completely remove & uninstaller WLM. Windows Live Messenger Uninstaller v0.01 can effectively remove any version of WLM.

Windows Live Messenger Uninstaller tested with Window Live Messenger 14.0.8089.726 on Windows 7.
